A Scottish mountaineering week 11th to 15th March 2008 with Gary Bentley, Dave Woodacre, Andy McVey and yours truly John.
                                                  Monday 10th March 08
Walked into Lairig Leacach and left our night gear in the bothy, then walked to the top of Stob Ban to the 977 metre summit.   On our return we were joined by 2 Dutch guys for the night.
                                                    Tuesday 11th March 08
Walked out from bothy, in pleasant sunshine back to car. Note snow has melted at bothy level.
                                                    Wednesday 12th March 08
Cairngorms for our first climb of the week, set off from the Ski Centre to Coire an Lochain to climb Vent Rib and Traverse. All kinds of weather today, walked off plateau on compass bearing, by way of Miadan Greag an Leth-Choin into the valley .
                                                    Thursday 13th March 08
Two Munros today Beinn a' Chaorainn   1052 metres (Hill of the Rowan) and Beinn Teallach 915 metres (Forge Hill). Set off from Laggan Dam Head. All kinds of weather today walked off on compass bearing from Beinn Teallach summit.
                                                                            Friday 14th March 08
Glencoe for our second ice climb of the week, we set off from the Pass of Glencoe to Corie nan Lochan then made our way to the base of Dorsal Arete our climbing route to Stob Corie nan Lochan.   All kinds of weather once again.
